DAY 2 BAK

Montezuma to Ashland KS 67 miles – but the must be as the crow flies as it was a true roller coaster ride in weather, hills and Genessa !

Aired up Genessa’s tires and now she is flying coming out of Montezuma at 14 MPH – WOW I had to keep up…

Weather we started out in thick fog – which seem to get thicker until I took off my glasses – it improved still foggy… sadly some drivers were not using the headlights which really makes it much safer for us all!

Much of the Highway out of Montezuma was very thick- this is after we turned of 54 and visibility improved a lot (even with my glasses)

On a very vertical climb (only a taste of the rest of the day – with the powerful wind in the face and fierce gusts to come- Genessa’s chain came off. She did not fall, that You creator, and we were able to get it back on with a little help from a friendly Gary, thanks Gary!. We followed up with a little gear changing talk and she became the hill queen!!

Of course SAG support is awesome!! Treats, apples, oranges, bananas, sometimes PBJ.

yesterday the Sherifs and today a little Greek nostalgia – always fun !

MADE IT!! Ashland we made it – Team Sloth Bringing Up the rear group!
